hello there. a few things. none of them really important. except for my little girl.

1. happy about the recent national elections. let's see if anything happens.
2. dell commercial on a lot. let's hope it runs forever.
3. fun gig at the elephant room recently. next show 12/8.
4. nice thanksgiving break. 4 days off from work.

trip to nyc

last weekend was my first visit back to nyc since i moved from brooklyn in 2004. the reason for the trip was that dell selected me to play the music on their holiday commercial which will start airing across the nation this week. i got to meet and play with some of the top call studio players in nyc and made a great connection with one of the top jingle houses there called bigfoote music. the session went very well and i hope it's not the last time i collaborate with bigfoote as they create music for commercials, tv and movies. saturday, i visited my old stompin' grounds in brooklyn and saw that many things had changed but many things have remained the same. i remembered many of the reasons why i miss that place but i was also reminded of why i moved back. austin is a great city!
